VINCENT’S VISION, BARBIE’S GLOW

When two icons collide, culture shifts. Barbie doll, a timeless symbol of style and reinvention, steps straight into Vincent van Gogh’s legendary The Starry Night from MoMA’s collection, turning one of the world’s most celebrated masterpieces into a living canvas.

A FUTURE FORETOLD BY FINE ART

This special edition of our classic Magic 8 Ball features a vibrant abstract work by Alma Woodsey Thomas, represented on its surface. Nine of the twenty iconic answers have been updated with custom phrases inspired by Thomas, a celebrated teacher turned artist.

ICONS OF MODERN DESIGN

MoMA’s permanent collection features indelible examples of “hollow, rolling sculptures” - otherwise known as cars. And among automobiles, the Citroën DS 23 Sedan is widely regarded as one of the most stunning French cars ever produced. Our replica of MoMA’s version, also featured in their Automania exhibit, includes an opening hood and custom Real Riders wheels inspired by the 1:1’s original radial tires.

A TIMELESS DALÍ DUO

Salvador Dalí had a timeless sense of style and left an indelible mark on art history. Our Little People Collector duo includes an exaggerated self-portrait figure, and a figure with elements inspired by his painting The Persistence of Memory. It’s a compelling example of how art and pop culture can play off each other with remarkable results.

THE STORY OF MODERNISM

MoMA began to explore a rich vein of art, style, and engineering when it began to exhibit cars in the 1950s. The Jaguar E-Type Roadster debuted in the following decade and is now often called the most beautiful car ever made. It was a perfect fit for MoMA’s Automania exhibit, and our die-cast replica looks just like the 1:1 on display in their permanent collection.

MINIATURE ARTISTRY

This Little People Collector set features the impressionist master Claude Monet. One figure is at work in his studio; the other is a three-dimensional self-portrait inspired by the style of his series of Water Lilies paintings, part of the MoMA collection and a playful expression of art in this youthful form factor.

COLOUR IN ART AND GAMEPLAY

Colour is a key part of UNO design, so we partnered with MoMA to choose vibrant paintings from their permanent collection for this UNO Canvas deck. Works by Matisse, Mondrian, Monet, and van Gogh adorn the suits, and Delauney and Popova decorate the Wilds. Each card is a miniature masterpiece in this collaborative creation.
